Sweet Memories Business Shoot

Hey! Happy Tuesday Friends.

I've been dying to share this shoot with you guys from the moment I uploaded these images onto my computer. For Starters: Meet Sabrina Judy- owner of Sweet Memories Cakery. Me and Sabrina go way back.. I'm talking freshman year of high school back. We've played sports together, double dated together, and really been through some CRAZY.. and I mean CRAZY times. Sabrina first started baking when we were in high school- and her creativity and talent have taken off ever since. This collaborative shoot came to mind to us about a month ago, we just had to patiently wait until both of our calendars were free! As your about to see the wait was well worth it. Along Sabrina and I, Leanne Hitt Photography, and Lexi Page Swan Photography also joined in on this fun shoot.

Before I preview these beautiful images with you guys, let me just say one thing. Starting your own business is a SCARY thing. Not only is it scary it is A LOT of hard work. It is putting yourself out of your comfort zone every day and finding a hustle you never knew you had before. It's sacrificing time with your family and friends- because you know one day this will pay off, that one day you will be the photographer booked for the remainder of the year- or the baker that has wedding season booked. It is absolutely amazing to me to have such dear friends to share a journey of a small business owner with. To be friends with 3 amazing women who all share the same dream I do, and I am so blessed to have worked with and spent time with them on Sunday! The goal in mind was to highlight Sabrina- well I should say her cakes, and her! I think we did just that, Her headshots are my new favorite! Additionally the same team of vendors plus more are working together August 5th for a styled wedding shoot. (See what I mean, I'm lucky to have them!)
