Hey!
So much of what I have been working on lately has been hidden and behind the scenes so I can build beautiful packages for my brides. To get in the swing of weddings, I decided it would be fitting to share my top 5 tips for Brides on their big day to make it an overall smooth day, and capture all the things they were looking for!
1. Create a Timeline for your photographer: Photographer's create a timeline on how long they will be shooting each individual pice (details, bridesmaids, portraits, etc) When you plan a timeline for your photographer, you keep them on your ideal schedule.
2. Gather all of your details: YESSSS! This is the best way to warm up, and capture all the small details. (plus these make beautiful images) This can include:
- Rings (Bride & Groom)
- Dress & Bridesmaid Dresses
- Jewelry
- Invitation Suite, including save the dates
- Flowers, make sure they are delivered to you while your getting ready not during the ceremony.
- Shoes
- Perfume
3. Round up Family: This is huge. It as even huge to me on my big day. Make sure it is clear to your family that after the ceremony they are needed for pictures. This is going to save you and your photographer SO much time because they don't have to track down family, and it gets you back into your wedding sooner.
4. Speaking of time, Plan additional Time with your photographer: I know your excited to move on with your big day, but your photographers purpose is to document these special moments. Trust me when I say your going to want these images, and your going to wish you spent the little extra time.
5. Have your engagement ring cleaned: This is also HUGE. There's two big reasons behind this, 1. your going to be putting on your brand new wedding band, that is going to be shiny and perfect- so you will want your engagement ring to match. 2. Your photographer is going to be including your ring and the grooms ring in multiple pictures- if your ring is dirty; the grooms ring is going to stand out more.
I hope these are all helpful, but of course more than anything soak in the best day of your life!
XOXOX,
Danielle
